New Measures in the Struggle Against the Coronavirus Epidemic in Belgrade June 30, 2020 On June 29, 2020, due to the sharp increase in the number of people suffering from COVID 19 in Belgrade, at the session of the Crisis Center for the suppression of the Infectious Disease COVID-19, the following measures were adopted: It will be mandatory to wear masks in public city transport and indoors, starting tomorrow at 6 am; Physical distance of at least one meter between people; A member of the Crisis Center for the suppression of the Infectious Disease COVID-19, epidemiologist Darija Kisić Tepavčević pointed out that most of those infected have a milder form of infection or no symptoms, but nevertheless, a significant number of people are hospitalized. The largest number of infected people is from the Belgrade and if such a trend continues, the number of people indoors and outdoors will be limited. Even with physical distance, it is mandatory to wear a protective mask. According to her, we did not plan to impose sanctions, but if citizens do not respect the envisaged measures, we will be forced to impose sanctions. She mentioned that there are no restrictions on the work of restaurants, but there is obligatory to wear masks in them as well.
