New Measures in Belgrade – Mandatory Masks and No Nightlife

On July 3, 2020, due to the sharp increase in the number of people suffering from COVID 19 in Belgrade, the Government of the Republic of Serbia has adopted new measures:

  • It is mandatory to wear masks in shopping malls and public city and intercity transport and indoors;
  • Sanctions for not wearing masks in shopping malls and public city and intercity transport, will be RSD 5,000 to RSD 6,000.
  • Physical distance of at least one meter between people;
  • Nightclubs, rafts from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m., as well as cafes, except for those with a garden, will be closed for two weeks.
  • The number of people indoors will be limited to 100, with a distance between people and with masks, and outdoors will be limited to 500 people.
