New Anti–Coronavirus Measures for the Upcoming Weekend December 25, 2020 At today’s session, the Government of the Republic of Serbia adopted the new anti – coronavirus measures recommended by the COVID-19 Crisis Response Team referring to the upcoming weekend (December 26 and 27). This decision enabled the work of trade and catering facilities for up to 8pm, with increased control over the implementation of epidemiological measures. The new measures include closed shopping centers and similar facilities in which retail trade is performed, and whose area is larger than 300 square meters. In that space, the maximum number of visitors is limited to one visitor per nine square meters. The wardens will be obliged to control the compliance with the epidemiological measures in the facilities – wearing masks, keeping physical distance and the number of allowed visitors. An increased number of sanitary inspectors will be engaged in controlling the implementation of the measures in facilities and hotels, especially on Kopaonik and Zlatibor.
