We are pleased to announce that, as part of the ongoing cultural exchange between China and Serbia, Kopilović & Kopilović Law Firm was honored to be invited to attend the “New Year Melody: Cultural Exchange on the Danube – Happy Chinese New Year Performance” held on January 23, 2025. This significant event took place at the Kolarac Concert Hall in Belgrade and garnered widespread attention from the Serbian government, diplomatic representatives, local media, and a diverse audience from the local community.
Our Managing Partner, , Ms. Ivana Kopilović, along with our dedicated team, attended this prestigious event. The atmosphere was vibrant, with remarkable performances by artists from Jilin Province, China. These included traditional Chinese dances, music, Peking opera, martial arts, and magic, all of which received enthusiastic applause from the audience. Notably, the performances of “Watching Flowers in the Western Chamber” and “New Year Greetings” effectively showcased the rich cultural heritage of Northeast China, with artists engaging the local audience and exchanging Chinese New Year blessings, bringing the performance to a memorable climax.
Additionally, the event featured a cultural quiz about China, which saw active participation from local children. This enjoyable activity provided an excellent opportunity for attendees to deepen their understanding of Chinese culture and traditions. The “Happy Chinese New Year” event was not only a significant cultural exchange but also contributed to the strengthening of relations between China and Serbia, laying a deeper foundation for further bilateral friendship and cooperation.

This event, part of the “Happy Chinese New Year” series, received strong support from the Chinese Embassy in Serbia, the Serbian government, and various cultural institutions.
