Celebration Reception for the 75th Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China

We are proud to share that our managing partner, Mr. Srećko Kopilović, attorney-at-law, and junior partner, Ms. Ivanka Jotović Živanović, attorney-at-law, attended the reception hosted by the Chinese Embassy in Serbia to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.

The event took place in the capital city of the Republic of Serbia, Belgrade, where Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić delivered a speech emphasizing the importance of enduring friendship between China and Serbia. This celebration not only marked a significant milestone for China but also strengthened the bonds between our two nations.

Event Highlights:

  • The ceremony, led by Chinese Ambassador to Serbia, Li Ming, commenced with the national anthems of both countries.
  • President Vučić was joined by Serbian government officials, diplomats, and representatives from the cultural and public sectors.
  • This occasion celebrated the remarkable achievements of China since its founding on October 1, 1949. As President Xi Jinping stated, this historic moment ended a century of humiliation for the Chinese people and laid the groundwork for a strong and prosperous nation.
