Dačić and Vang on deepening Serbia-China partnership November 17, 2014 Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dačić had talks with Chinese Deputy Foreign Minister Vang Chao, who expressed readiness for new initiatives in the political and economic field, with a view to deepening bilateral partnership. In Belgrade, Vang led a Chinese delegation at a meeting of the national coordinators of the China – countries of Central and Eastern Europe, dedicated to preparations for the the third summit of the leaders of 16 countries of Central and Eastern Europe in Belgrade in December. He said that China attached great importance to the strenthening of bilateral cooperation within the mechanism of China’s cooperation with the countries of Central and Eastern Europe and the realization of joint projects in the fields of infrastructure and energy. They also stressed the importance of further strengthening of political dialogue based on strategic partnership. Dačić stressed that Belgrade highly appreciated China’s support to Serbia’s territorial integrity and its principles insistence on respect for UN Resolution 1244 and stressed Serbia’s support to the one-China policy.
