The first edition of the Liangzhu Forum, co-hosted by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China and the People’s Government of Zhejiang Province, was successfully held on December 3, 2023 in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China. Events of the Forum were Implementing the Global Civilization Initiative – Promoting Exchanges and Mutual Learning between Civilizations, and Dialogue of Young Sinologists in the New Era: Civilization Exchanges and Mutual Learning between China and the World, respectively. Our Managing Partner, Ms. Ivana Kopilovi\u0107, attended the forum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About 150 people attended the forum, including domestic famous experts and scholars such as Wang Wei and Wang Zhenzhong, members of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, as well as 43 young sinologists from 33 countries who participated in the 2023 Visiting Program for Young Sinologists, and media representatives. The Liangzhu Forum is a new platform for exchanging civilizations and an important initiative in deepening the ‘One Belt and One Road’ civilization dialogue. By means of humanistic exchanges and artistic creations, countries from around the world can jointly pursue mutual understanding of civilizations and establish a dynamic platform for cross-cultural dialogue and international cooperation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
